TJEDAN SJEĆANJA NA RATNU 1991. GODINU.
Polovica studenoga, vrijeme je kada se prisjećamo dramatičnih događaja 1991. godine. Zločini u Saborskom, Slunju, Škabrnji, Vukovaru.
Saborčani su jučer obilježili 32. obljetnicu, kada su „komšije“, potpomognute zločinačkom JNA, do temelja srušili selo i iza sebe ostavili smrt i pustoš.
U četvrtak, 16. studenog, Grad Slunj obilježava 32. godišnjicu progonstva Slunjana sa svojih ognjišta. Tih dana, 1991. godine, Slunjani su krenuli na svoj križni put, spašavajući živote pred tenkovima, avionima i topništvom, pod pratnjom hrvatske policije i ZNG-a, prema susjednoj Bosni.
„Da se nikad ne zaboravi“, naziv je programa kojim se svake godine, 16. studenog, obilježava ova tužna obljetnica. Svake godine pale lampione za 352 žrtve. Program počinje već u srijedu polaganjem vijenaca na spomen obilježja hrvatskim braniteljima u Furjanu i Lađevcu.
U četvrtak u 10,00 sati položiti će se vijenci na spomen obilježje u gradskom parku u Slunju, a potom slijedi Kolona sjećanja - Gradski park-Ulica braće Radić-Trg Zrinskih i Frankopana, te odavanje počasti poginulim policajcima.
U 11,oo sati je Sveta misa u crkvi Presvetog Trojstva.
Za 12,oo sati zakazana je tribina -Da se ne zaboravi“ u Pučkom otvorenom učilištu, a u 13,3o, u POU biti će otvorena izložba fotografija stradanja Slunja. Za 17,oo sati predviđena je projekcija filma „104 sumraka“.

I Ogulin će, kao i svake godine, obilježiti Dan sjećanja na žrtve Domovinskog rata i Dan sjećanja na žrtvu Vukovara i Škabrnje, u petak, 17. studenog, misom u 18,00 sati u crkvi Sv. Križa. Nakon svete mise bit će zajednička molitva i kraći prigodni program, u kojem će nastupit Hrvatsko pjevačko društvo Klek.
Nakon toga slijedi paljenje svijeća na Trgu hrvatskih rodoljuba i niz glavnu gradsku ulicu Bernardina Frankopana. Svijeće je osigurao Grad.
